Stunning seasonal garden with a North American influence. Our clients wanted a simplistic garden, with seasonal colour and beautiful lemon and white perennials for interest. The garden was created around existing Picea Colorado spruce to soften a large spanning lawn and add interest for a rural wedding. Hydrangea Quercifoli, viburnum, azaleas, weeping acres and lots of white perennials. Chrysanthemums and sedums to name a few. The area was prepared from scratch. Prepping the ground, conditioning the soil, planting and mulching. Regular feeding of plants was recommended to encourage healthy growth.
Transforming a paddock into a lush New Zealand native garden with exotic trees for seasonal colour. Our project was to compliment a new build in rural north Waikato. Clients wanted shelter from prevailing winds, road side privacy and plants to encourage beneficial insects, birds and bees. We added specimen trees en masse for seasonal colour and interest. What started off as a paddock has been transformed into a beautiful thriving country oasis 2 years on.
Elevated and a very sloping site - no problem. An architecturally designed home set into the land and surrounded by rolling hills. Our clients wanted their gardens to embrace every season. Liquidambar Styraciflua were planted close together on the road side to create a tree hedge as well as shelter. The large garden itself was planted en masse with weeping acers, viburnum, magnolia and ground covers amongst many more classic shrubs to create this timeless look. Red, white and green. Planting and mulching was carried out whilst being attached to a life line above a 5 mtr retaining wall.
